Greece & Italy Spring 2018

Travel across Florence, Rome & Athens for Spring Break! Witness the legacy of the Medicis in Florence with a visit to the Uffizi gallery. Walk in the footsteps of Julius Caesar at the Forum in Rome. Then visit the birthplace of democracy in Athens, with visits to locations such as the Parthenon and the Acropolis.

Course Costs:                
Tuition and Fees: $700*
    *(includes $100 deposit billed at the time of enrollment).
Explorica Tour Costs: $3,558**
     **Airfare is included in the tour costs. Tour prices are subject to change as the year goes on.

The costs include tuition and fees, travel insurance, airfare, lodging, most meals, & excursions/transportation. The costs do not include additional meals, passport, tip for tour driver, and any miscellaneous costs a student might wish to incur.

Ireland Spring Break 2018

Visit beautiful Ireland during Spring Break! Stay in Dublin, getting a chance to see all the historic landmarks. Take a trip to Belfast, where you'll stay 2 nights in Northern Ireland as well, before returning to Dublin.

     (includes $200 deposit billed at the time of enrollment).
     *Airfare is not included in the tour costs. Airfare estimated at $1,400 - $1,700.

Italy Summer 2018 - POLS

The Grand Tour of Italy is exactly that. Grand. From Venice’s endless canals to each Roman piazza, Italy has no shortage of awe-inspiring sights. You’ll see Doge’s Palace pale façade change color at sunset, stroll over the Bridge of Sighs and explore the ruins of the ancient Roman Forum on this show stopping tour of Italian culture.

Tuition and Fees: $650
     (includes $100 deposit billed at the time of enrollment).
     (This tuition amount could possibly increase after July 1 if OSU tuition increases)

Italy Summer 2018 - HIST/ART

Explore the cultural and historical landscape of southern Italy, from the great archaeological sites and museums of Rome to the ruins of Pompeii. You will have the opportunity to examine an on-going excavation in the historic town of Nocera Superiore, home of Roman ruins, mendicant churches, and one of the oldest and largest early Christian baptisteries in existence. The course includes trips to Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum, and the museums in Naples.

Russia and the Baltics - GEOG 4600/5700

In Moscow’s Red Square gaze up at the vibrant conical roofs and distinctive onion domes of Saint Basil’s Cathedral. Hop on an overnight train through Russia’s vast landscape to discover St. Petersburg’s imperial history, crystalline canals, and Winter Palace. Travel to Tallin, Estonia, and then take a ferry to Helsinki, Finland for a guided sightseeing tour.
